Type of vessel The Yacht Sweet Waters is a 14 meter Full Keel GRP Ocean Going Ketch that has excellent sea handling capability and sails with superb precision. The interior is finished in teak and rare yellow wood, obtained from first class South African railway coaches and famous old hotels from the elegant bygone era in Durban. The result is a vessel with a superbly romantic "olde worlde" atmosphere saturating her four cabins, the spacious saloon, convertible cockpit and comfortable heads. Certification She has a Passenger Vessel safety certificate issued by the South African Maritime Safety Authority for 20 persons in the Richards Bay Harbour. Sweet Waters is currently the only charter yacht taking people around Richards Bay harbour. Dr. Izak Labuschagne is the skipper of the vessel being certified A11 (1) for up to 100 ton vessels.
Charter Operations Sweet Waters was launched at the small craft harbour slipway and within a week Port Sail Charters kicked off with a roaring trade on the 3rd of December 2005.
