Christians
are called to: SPEAK OUT!! . September 2004 |
During the National
Election the ACDP decided to support (or is it more than that) the ANC in
Kwa-Zulu Natal to allow the ANC to rule in that province. The whole election was fought along racial
lines. It was clearly said on television that the blacks should stand together
in the election.
What made a Christian party decide to assist a
secular/ humanistic party to gain the upper hand in our fight against ungodly
rule in out country? Was it because
there was a call for blacks to stand together? Or was it for the extra seat in
parliament?
The whole time people were told about
Christian principles and how important it is and then that same party turned
around and yoked themselves to the ANC. Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers; for what fellowship
does righteousness have with lawlessness? And what partnership does light have
with darkness? 2Co 6:14
After the NNP’s announcement in August 2004, about walking over to the
ANC, I wonder: is anything impossible?
What does the Word of God say? Do not be unequally yoked with
unbelievers. There are hundreds of
thousands blinded Christians that are supporting the ANC; does that make the
ANC a godly party? NO! Their teachings
are like those of the unbelievers. The
Word of God says further: What fellowship does righteousness have with
lawlessness? We would like a straight
answer from the ACDP: Why do you appear to have fellowship with the ANC? As far as we know most of the ACDP
supporters are committed born again Christians. Are they in agreement with the ACDP leadership’s decision to go
into partnership with the ANC? And what partnership
does light have with darkness? Has their membership agreed to be unequally
yoked, without their permission being asked beforehand?
Speak Out! Make it clear that we want committed, born again Christians to
rule our country. We are not in favour
of a specific race or language group or party to rule. As long as they are
committed, born again Christians that are not unequally yoked we have no
problem with it.
